Q: How are you able to compete with the large retail stores pricing?

A: Elite Audio is a smaller company, so we don't have the large overhead costs that the big chain stores do, this allows us to have a lower price.  We offer high-end, state of the art equipment for people who expect more from their home electronics systems.  Large retail stores focus more on product sales, while we provide you with complete home technology solutions.

Q: Will it take a long time to have my system designed and installed?

A: The time it takes for your home theater project will depend on the complexity of your system and whether you have an existing home, or are building a new home.  Simple jobs such as installing a television and a 5.1 surround sound system can take as little as a week.  More extensive jobs like a new construction project that starts with pre-wiring and lasts until all the components are installed and programmed, can take up to a year, though it depends on your builder.  We like to visit your home for a walk-through to understand how to best integrate your desired home theater system into your decor and room layout.  To get specific information on a home theater design and installation, please contact us.

Q: My builder has a contact for home theater that he insists I use, what should i do?

A: Many builders have established relationships with preferred subcontractors; what makes them preferred is different for each builder, and how consistently they use their preferred subcontractor also varies.  Builders are busy people with many responsibilities, so it's crucial that they control as many variables as possible in order to meet the construction schedule, proposed budget, and their promises to you.  We've worked with quite a few of the builders in the area, and we are sure they will tell you that we do quality work, that we don't hold up their projects, and that we are dependable.  You will be the one living in the house and using the equipment, so ultimately, the decision should be yours.  After all, your builder works for you, not the other way around.

Q: Do I have to spend a fortune to have a good system?

A: The amount of money you invest in your home electronics system really depends your choices.  We like to spend a lot of time with our clients to define exactly what they want their system to do, how they want it to look, and how it needs to fit into their lifestyle.  We start by helping you understand how the different technologies can add quality, comfort, and convenience to your life. Q: We're thinking about creating a theater room, what should we consider about design and construction?

A: Having a dedicated room for your home theater gives you the ability to optimize audio and video performance while creating an interior design that suits your taste.  Each customer is different and each media system is different, which means that each home theater project will need different things taken into consideration.  We strongly recommend that you contact us at the earliest stages of your project, so we can help you design and build the perfect system for your room.

Q: To recreate the excitement and atmosphere of a real movie theater, what size screen will I need?

A: Again, each customer and home theater system is different, so we would need to know at least the basic information on your room to give a recommendation.  Our recommendations are based on customer preference and  viewing distance, please contact us for more information.

Q: Can our family watch a movie, listen to music, and play a game console at the same time?

A: Absolutely! With today's technology you can have a single entertainment system that can be enjoyed throughout your home, even outdoors.  We routinely design, sell, and install systems that allow you to watch television programs in one room, watch the latest Blu-Ray in another, play the Wii in yet another, and listen to music outside, all at the same time. The technical description for a system like this is multi-source, or multi-zone. This means that you have different sources of audio and video that can be accessed and controlled from different rooms, simultaneously. Controlling the system is easier than you might think with the use of wall-mounted keypads or a hand-held touch screen remote that you can carry from room to room.

Q: Will my house be trashed during the installation?

A: Absolutely not.  We understand how frustrating it is for a company to come work on your house and leave a mess.  Yes, by nature home theater installation can be messy, but we will always clean up anything we mess up, the most we will ask of you is the use of your broom.  At Elite Audio Solutions, we pride ourselves on the courtesy and competence of our employees.  We have worked in some of the most prestigious homes in the Austin area, and the only things we leave behind are smiles and exceptional work.
