Why Have A Home Theater Room?
Until recently, the best way to watch a movie was to go to a traditional movie theater, pay an outrageous amount of money for tickets and refreshments, stand in line and be disrupted by phones, children and the discourtesy of others. The introduction of DVD players made it easy to rent or buy movies and watch them at home, but televisions just couldn't compare to movie theaters huge screen and surround sound system. Aside from the smaller screens and poor quality speakers on televisions of the past, formatting a movie to fit the screen got rid of a substantial part of the picture, making it seem you were missing a large part of the movie and overall experience.
Now, more and more people are turning their ordinary TV rooms into home theater rooms. Before, this could only be accomplished with a projector and a screen, and it was too expensive for most people to afford. However, advances in technology have given people more options for home theater setups, and other media systems in their homes. Most people find that a personal home theater room is quieter, and more convenient, while also offering privacy and flexibility that traditional movie theaters just can't give you, without losing the wonderful audio and visual experience of watching a great movie on a big screen.
